My name is Alex and I am the founder of Wee Love Languages – Northern Ireland’s Coolest Language School located in Belfast. We offer a range of interactive, educational and fun foreign language courses throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland for children and adults. Whatever language you want us to teach, we’ll sort it!
I describe myself as a language enthusiast. I graduated from Queen’s University in Belfast with a degree in Modern Languages – French and Spanish – in 2o13. Having working as an English teacher in La Rioja in Spain, I noticed that people in Northern Ireland (especially children) are still not encouraged to learn a language and this annoyed me, given my passion for languages. Over there, everyone wants to learn a second language, so why are we not striving for the same?
Anyone who knows me personally, knows that I am passionate in everything I do. Why give 99% when you can give 100? Therefore, all classes are energetic, full of laughter and based in an interactive environment. Adult classes are a good opportunity to meet new people, gain new skills and have fun while doing that. For children, our teaching is through songs, games, puppet shows, activities on a tablet, art, stories and a bit of dancing for good measure. I see these as my unique selling points, along with the fact that I am only 27 years old and 4 foot 11…not too old and not too tall for the children but in fact rather ‘fun sized’ like my classes.
